My Story
I was very stuck at a certain point in life as well. When I was introduced to mindfulness in my early twenties, I snubbed the idea of doing that woo-woo stuff. No chance! But then I found myself knee-deep in another depressive episode, and with my only options being medication or mindfulness, I chose the latter.
Did the depression return? Yes—but it was short-lived and much easier to navigate with the tools and skills I had learned. What I did continue to experience and expand was an incredible sense of peace within myself, clarity of mind, and a deep appreciation for the exquisite beauty of the present moment.
